Bush's Approval Poll Limbo
How low can he go? I don't know – let's have a look.
An NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll released yesterday and taken last weekend shows President Bush’s approval rating still below 40 percent and with a large majority of Americans believing the country is generally going in the wrong direction.
Poll respondents put Bush's approval rating at 39 percent, while only 28 percent believe the country is headed in the right direction. Meanwhile, 48 percent want Democrats to be back in charge of the House and Senate and 39 percent of delusional respondents still believe Republicans do better for the country when controlling Congress.
Let's work to give that 48 percent what they want in 2006, folks.
