While we're on the subject of the New Jersey Senate race, two polls, both released on October 2, now show Democrat Robert Menendez taking a strong lead over his Republican opponent, Tom Kean Jr. A Reuters/Zogby poll has it at Menendez 46 percent to 35 percent for Kean, while a Fairleigh Dickinson/PublicMind survey shows Menendez up by seven points, 46 percent to 39 percent.
A great news week for the Menendez camp.
