The Saturday Cartoons

While it is my hope that the cartoons I post will give you a chuckle, most of those offered today will not. Editorial cartoons by their very nature attempt to define current news and today's selections understandably focus on Bush's plan to escalate the war in Iraq and, in some cases, the increase in troop deaths that will result. Hardly something that will make you laugh, but still one of the most salient elements of the week in politics.
