Here's Jack Cafferty on CNN yesterday talking about the ludicrous degree of protection John McCain needed to stay alive in Baghdad -- on a trip intended to show… how safe it is to walk around in Baghdad!
"The truth is this: John McCain was surrounded by over 100 U.S. soldiers, in armored Humvees, whose sole job was to protect him and General Petraeus. There were five helicopters circling overhead, three Blackhawks, two Apache gunships. An insurgent would have to be smoking crack to make a move against McCain under those circumstances…
"He had five helicopters, and 100 soldiers and armored humvees…and he's talking about how safe Iraq is. Doesn't that register?"
