Senate Birthdays

Pennsylvania's freshman Senator Bob Casey turns 47 today. While it's hard to drink a hearty toast to Casey given that he just voted with the Republicans and the Religious Right on the stem cell bill this week, it's important to keep in mind that he did take out Republican Rick "Man-on-Dog" Santorum in 2006, which helped put control of the Senate in Democratic hands.

So, that alone is reason enough to wish Senator Casey a Happy Birthday.
