Today In The Senate

The senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. and proceed to a period of morning business for up to one hour, with the time equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders or their designees.

Following morning business, the Senate will resume post-cloture consideration of the motion to proceed to S. 3001, the Department of Defense Authorization Bill. The Senate will recess from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons to meet.
