Today In The Senate

The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. and resume consideration of S. 3001, the Defense Authorization bill. There will be no roll call votes during Monday's session.

On Friday, Senator Reid filed cloture on the Defense Authorization bill. Senators have until 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, to file germane first degree amendments. The cloture vote on the Defense Authorization bill will occur during Tuesday's session.
