More Recent Polling News...

Since we're talking about polls and the pulse of the American people today, let's look at the most recent CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll showing that the majority of citizens think we were misled about the rationale for the Iraq war.

The poll, conducted July 22-24 2005, asked the question “Do you think the Bush administration deliberately misled the American public about whether Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, or not?”

It seems to me that “deliberately” is the key word here and, based on that, 51 percent of respondents believe they were sold a bill of goods on Iraq.

Here's the question of the day: Are Americans finally beginning to get what this administration is truly about and, if so, will it be profound enough to translate into a Democratic House and/or Senate next year?
