Supreme Court Pick Announced Tonight

Bush: I need more time. This is hard work, havin' to do all this thinkin' and everything about a Supreme Court nominee!

Rove: Just pick someone, you dunce – and hopefully someone controversial to take the heat off me.

Bush will disclose his pick for the U.S. Supreme Court seat being vacated by Sandra Day O'Connor at 9:00 (EDT) tonight. I'm sure a president has announced a Supreme Court nominee on national television, in prime time before – though I can't remember when – but it's almost as if he's trying to distract attention from something else...
