No Matter How Hackett Does Today...

I will always respect him for his blunt, honest assessments of George W. Bush, while running in a heavily-Republican district.

Among many comments, Hackett said of Bush's "bring it on" taunt to the terrorists:

"That's the most incredibly stupid comment I've ever heard a president of the United States make -- he cheered on the enemy."

It's nice to hear any public figure actually say that.
