Poll Says 40 Percent Of Americans Are Idiots

A CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released Monday showed that 40 percent of Americans are dumber than dirt. The poll shows that four in ten Americans approve of President Bush's job performance, while 58 percent of the public reads the newspaper, avoids Fox News and does not think Bush is doing a peachy job.

In other poll lowlights:

• 57 percent disapproved of Bush's handling of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina
• 67 percent disapproved of how the president if handling the Iraq war
• 59 percent said they considered the 2003 invasion of Iraq a mistake
• 63 percent said they disapproved of the job Bush is doing on the economy
