DeLay’s Arrest Warrant

Here's former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay’s arrest warrant, issued yesterday by the Travis County District Court and requiring DeLay to appear in Texas for booking on state conspiracy and money laundering charges. He is expected to be arraigned on Friday.

On the one hand, it’s never a good thing to see one of our country’s most powerful leaders indicted for anything. On the other, it’s the sign of a functional democracy when the bad guys in power actually get nailed for their criminal activities.
