To The GOP, it's 17 Dead Troops... 71? Whatever...
Our head-in-the-sand, stay-the-course Republican of the day is incumbent Geoff Davis, who is struggling to keep his seat in Kentucky's 4th Congressional district. I guess it's easy to be with George W. Bush on staying in Iraq forever when you have no clue about what's going on over there. Here's Davis, when a debate moderator asks him how many US troops have died in Iraq so far this month:
His Democratic opponent is Ken Lucas and the polling shows them as being quite close. Support the troops -- vote for Lucas.
