Happy New Year To All, But…

Please remember that we hit a horrible milestone today, with the American military death number reaching 3,000 in Iraq.

According to the Associated Press, the toll went to 3,000 today with the death of Spc. Dustin R. Donica, 22, of Spring, Texas, who was killed in Baghdad. This brings American deaths in George W. Bush's war to 111 for December and 820 for the year.

Remember these men and women tonight as you celebrate the New Year and use it to strengthen your resolve to fight for greater change in 2007.
