The Saturday Cartoons

I'm very happy to announce that editorial cartoonist Ben Sargent, of the Austin American-Statesman, has given me permission to run his work and we lead our cartoon round-up today with some of his work.

Ben won the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1982, has been at the Austin Statesman for 33 years and is syndicated in 40 newspapers nationwide. He is the author of Texas Statehouse Blues (1980) and Big Brother Blues (1984).

Please visit Ben at his site and take a look at a good 2005 profile on him in The Good Life Magazine.

A big thank you to Ben for his generosity.

Hey, look, it's another great Mark Fiore animation. This time, it's that wacky little crook, MC Rove.
