Reason Enough For Alabama Voters To Toss Sessions

Republican Jeff Sessions of Alabama will once again have to run for his U.S. Senate seat in 2008 and this single statement, given when discussing George W. Bush and the immigration debate Friday on the Senate floor, is reason enough for Alabamians to vote for a pecan tree before again picking Sessions to represent them in Washington:
"Well, we don't agree on this issue, but he has a good vision for America."
George W. Bush? A good vision for America?

Note to Sessions' next Democratic opponent: Keep this statement handy.
