One of the best parts of being at the Take Back America conference last month was getting to spend a fair amount of time with Marcy Wheeler, the author of Anatomy of Deceit, How the Bush Administration Used the Media to Sell the Iraq War and Out a Spy. She took her expertise on the outing of covert CIA agent Valerie Plame and the whole Libby trial on MSNBC's Hardball last night and gave a short, simple explanation for why all Americans should care about George W. Bush effectively pardoning Libby for his crimes.
