Al Franken Up In Minnesota

Democratic candidate Al Franken has taken a lead over Republican incumbent Norm Coleman in Minnesota's Senate race. A Star Tribune poll released yesterday shows Franken at 39 percent to 36 percent for Coleman. Independent Dean Barkley has 18 percent of likely voters, despite campaigning with almost no budget and it's my theory that a percentage of voters defecting from Barkley on election day and being unwilling to risk another Coleman term will swing the election to Franken.

That's a sneak peak -- Senate election predictions coming next week.
