Republican Stiffs Democratic Kids On Halloween

OK, we've gotten used to the swift-boating, the smearing of our candidates and everything else that's in the Republican playbook. We're ready for an end to John McCain and Sarah Palin continuing to lie about Barack Obama's tax plan, while calling him a terrorist, socialist and a Marxist -- the latter I'm sure makes the erudite Palin believe that Obama is a disciple of Groucho, Harpo and Zeppo.

We're adults and we can handle the slime barrage, right?

But now Republicans are going after kids on Halloween?

Yep. Here's McCain supporter Shirley Nagel of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, who met kids coming to her door on October 31st with a sign saying “No handouts for Obama supporters. Liars, tricksters, or kids of supporters.”

When children approached her lair, Nagel asked them who they or their parents were supporting for president and if it was Obama -- no candy for them.
