Ohio Race Hangs On Clermont County

11:03 PM EDT

Well, looks like we're hung up on Clermont County as the other six counties in Ohio's second Congressional district all have 100 percent of precincts reporting. With the race almost in a statistical dead heat, here's what tonight's vote has taught us, relative to how each county voted in the 2004 presidential election:

Here's the Southern Ohio county, how it voted for president and how it voted tonight:

Adams 64% Bush, 52% Hackett

Brown 64% Bush, 56% Hackett

Hamilton 53% Bush, 51% Schmidt

Pike 52% Bush, 63% Hackett

Scioto 52% Bush, 65% Hackett

Warren 72 % Bush, 58% Schmidt

So that leaves Clermont County, which gave Bush a huge 71 percent in 2004.

I know what I read into that – but I don't want to consider the thought right now.
