Bush Continues To Lose Poll Position

When it comes to national political polls, George W. Bush can run, but he can't hide.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released yesterday provides no big surprises, with Bush's approval rating lower than a conservative talk show host's IQ, at 40 percent. That's a six-point drop since the last NBC/WSJ poll just two months ago.

The poll, conducted September 9-12, also shows just 37 percent of respondents approving of Bush’s handling of Iraq, with 58 percent disapproving. In other areas, only 40 percent of Americans think Bush is doing a good job with the economy, while only 36 percent approve of the way the president handles America's foreign policy.

Wow. Not even the right-wing Wall Street Journal can perfume this pig.
