Mehlman Gets In On Talking Points Fun

Here's Republican National Committee talking muppet Ken Mehlman taking Senator Harry Reid and Representative Nancy Pelosi to task for daring to challenge the Bush administration's handling of Hurricane Katrina:

“While countless Americans are pulling together to lend a helping hand, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are pointing fingers in a shameless effort to tear us apart,” said the RNC robot. (He looks so life-like too!)

And I guess Republicans sending 1,900 people to die needlessly in Iraq and allowing American to drown and die of thirst in New Orleans while Bush vacations, brings us all together, right Ken?

Reid's spokesman, Jim Manley, called the criticism "typical distractive drivel from a Bush frontman trying to avoid answering honest questions."

Sounds about right.
