Minor Correction to Minimum Wage Story

Who says Yellow Dog Blog readers are among the most erudite on the 'Net? Me!

Mauro Camporeale, who was active in the campaign to raise the minimum wage rate in New Jersey, wrote to point out a slight error in my recent piece, The Blue and Red State Minimum Wage Divide. Mauro informs me that the Garden State's minimum wage was just increased on October 1 to $6.15 per hour and is going to $7.15 one year later.

I double-checked my source at the U.S. Labor Department and it looks like they had not updated their site with this information yet. But, it's all good as this is yet another primarily-Democratic state making the right moves to improve the lot of working families.

Thanks to Mauro for the correction.
