The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. and there will then be a period of morning business for up to 60 minutes with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each with the time equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their designees. The Republicans will control the first half and the Majority will control the final half.

Following morning business, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R. 1585, the Defense Authorization bill.

The Senate will recess from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons.
