Meeting John Kerry And Christie Brinkley in One Night

One of the best parts of being so involved in the Kerry-Edwards campaign was the parties and events. In March 2004 I attended a John Kerry Town Hall meeting at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn and, in addition to seeing a wonderful talk by Senator Kerry -- he's much better in person -- I got to sit next to Christie Brinkley and have a very nice talk with her about Democratic politics.

At age 50, she's as beautiful and glamorous as ever --very liberal and very nice too. The whole package.


While I know being a Republican would mean I might get the life-altering pleasure of meeting Bruce Willis or Kelsey Grammar, I'll take Christie any day.
