BuzzFlash's GOP Hypocrite Of The Week

Hey, it's Friday, which means it's time to check out BuzzFlash's "GOP Hypocrite Of The Week." This week, despite the usual grueling process to narrow the selection to just one Republican hypocrite, it's the Commander-in-Thief himself.

An excerpt:

For a long time we've been contemplating Bush's "get out of accountability card" for everything he has done to destroy America: his claim that he found Christ. We realize now that the basic dilemma with verifying this assertion is that no one has proven that Christ or God has found or accepted Bush. Certainly, Bush's incompetent and corrupt deeds would suggest that God and his son have left George cooling his heels in the gutter, while they embrace the true disciples of decency, integrity and faith.

Take for example the latest nomination of Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court. Bush told a news conference that she was the best person he could find for America. Well, the truth is that she was the best person that he could find to ensure the maintenance of Republican one-party rule and the Imperial GOP Presidency. He also knows that any woman that thinks he is the most brilliant person around would throw out any convictions against him or his staff.
