McCain Gets Touchy When Called On Lies

Have a look at what happened here in his meeting Tuesday with the editorial board of The Des Moines Register, when someone had the temerity to call him on his lying ads about Barack Obama:

The best he can do when a board member calls him on the stupid "lipstick on a pig" distortion is say this: "Well, that certainly is your opinion and I respect your opinion, but it's not the facts that changes my positions and my honorable service to this country. So I respect your opinion. I strongly disagree with your assertion."

That's his story and he's sticking with it -- including the sly reference (yet again) to once being a POW. And then he'll wonder why Obama gets The Register's endorsement.
