Rudolph Pleads Guilty In Clinic Bombing

Eric Rudolph pleaded guilty today to bombing an Alabama abortion clinic in 1998, killing a police officer and maiming a nurse, who worked at the clinic.

It's a good thing for Bush, DeLay and the gang that Rudolph got life in prison as part of his plea bargain. Otherwise, they would have been struck between their psuedo toughness on crime and their debt to the religious right, who consider Rudolph a hero.
