Hey Look, Kids. Another Lousy Bush Poll

This time it's the Zogby poll, released yesterday and taken September 6 and 7. It shows President Bush's approval numbers again dropping faster than FEMA chief Michael Brown can hide his resume. This time, Bush comes in with an abysmal 41 percent approval rating.

I still can't believe it's that high.

In other numbers, Zogby reports that 53 percent of Americans think the country is heading in the "wrong direction," while 59 percent have a negative view of the president's handling of the Iraq War.

A huge 67 percent of Americans view Bush's efforts on Social Security, Medicare and Health Care negatively and 73 percent believe the president isn't doing squat to bring down gas prices.

There goes that American public again: Finger-pointing and blame-gaming.
